About Us
We’re a mobile surf school based in Rabat, Morocco, founded by former WSL surfer and Moroccan champion Abdel Elharim. With expert local knowledge and certified instructors, we guide you to the best waves at the right time safely and with stoke.
Open to all levels and ages, our sessions are a fun, friendly way to surf, meet people, and experience the local vibe whether you’re a resident, a traveler, or a family looking for a memorable activity together.
Surf Lessons
Our surf lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate surfers, providing a safe, supportive, and fun learning experience at Rabat beach. Whether you’re catching your very first wave or working on improving your technique, our qualified instructors will guide you every step of the way.
Our goal is to help each student:

Community Surf Program Free Surf Lessons for Kids
At Medina Surfing, we believe in giving back. Through our surfing association and in partnership with a local non profit, we offer free surf coaching to children from underprivileged backgrounds in the Rabat area.

With over 30 years of surf experience and 15+ years as a certified coach, Abdel Elharim is one of Morocco’s most respected and influential surfers. Born in Rabat, he made history as the first Moroccan to compete on the WSL QS Tour and the first ever invited to the legendary Pipeline Masters in Hawaii where he gained global recognition by defeating top names like John John Florence and Shane Dorian.
